Flower Art Collection (an ongoing project)

The butterfly's wing matches the flower so perfectly that it's difficult to tell it is not one of the petals.

Pink Mussaenda - I was particularly drawn to the yellow star on this flower. Actually, the yellow star is the flower. The pink "petals" are actually leaves, much like the red leaves of a poinsettia.

Cattleya Orchid - photographed at AOS Orchid Center in Delray Beach, FL

This image of Phragmipedium Orchids on a black background represents the grief someone feels for a fallen loved one. It is reminiscent of a pieta with Mary mourning over the body of Jesus. It won first place for photography in the 14th All Florida Art Exhibit at the Cornell Museum of Art in Delray Beach, FL.

This is another example of a Phragmipedium Orchid.

And I have no idea what type of orchid this is. It's just very nice to see.
